Blank

Her face went.
When she saw him.
"Didn't I bury him?"

Breeze

Blew away memories.
Piled like dead leaves.
Rotting away.
Everyday.

Pain

She shrieked.
Closed her eyes.
Prayed silently.
His memories,
Caused pain.

Umbrella

Sheltered her.
From torrential rains.
From verbal abuse,
No protection.

Little black dress

Very haute couture.
Worn only once,
At her own funeral.
